Canadian rock history filled the room on April 18 as Streetheart brought their sold-out 50th Anniversary Tour to Century Casino Edmonton—and delivered a night that felt equal parts celebration, reunion, and full-throttle rock show.

Marking five decades of hits, the legendary band proved why their music still resonates, ripping through a catalog that includes classics like “Action,” “Under My Thumb,” and “Here Comes the Night.” The energy inside the packed showroom reflected the enduring legacy of a band that has spent 50 years shaping Canadian rock, a milestone they’re currently celebrating across the country on this anniversary tour.

From the opening notes, the crowd was on its feet, the dance floor was full, many clearly longtime fans who have followed Streetheart since the beginning. The atmosphere was electric—part nostalgia, part pure live-music adrenaline—as the band locked in with the audience and never let go.

One of the night’s biggest highlights came with a special appearance by Brent Fitz, who has stepped in behind the kit often as a guest drummer. Known for his work with some of rock’s biggest names, Fitz brought a powerful, polished edge to the performance, adding a fresh dynamic while staying true to the band’s signature sound. His presence elevated an already high-energy show into something truly memorable.

The celebration didn’t stop there. The night also doubled as a birthday bash for longtime keyboardist Daryl Gutheil, giving fans even more reason to cheer. The band and audience alike took time to recognize Gutheil, whose contributions to Streetheart’s sound have been integral over the years. The moment added a personal, heartfelt layer to an already special evening.

Between songs, the band reflected on their journey—50 years of touring, recording, and connecting with fans across generations. That connection was undeniable throughout the night, as every chorus was sung back from the crowd and every guitar riff met with roaring approval.

The sold-out show at Century Casino wasn’t just another stop on the tour—it felt like a milestone moment. A celebration of longevity, musicianship, and the timeless appeal of straight-up rock and roll.

After 50 years, Streetheart isn’t just still playing—they’re still owning the stage.

Wishing Daryl Gutheil Happy Birthday!
